Software Support & Maintenance Services
Proactive application maintenance, ongoing software support, system monitoring, security updates, and performance tuning for business platforms.
Key Capabilities & Deliverables
- Application Maintenance & Bug Fixing
- Production Monitoring & Telemetry Review
- Security Patching & Dependency Updates
- Database & Query Performance Tuning
- Continuous Platform Improvements
Ongoing engineering support for live platforms: production monitoring, security patching, dependency upgrades and small improvements shipped on a regular cadence, with response commitments agreed for each engagement.
Who This Is For
For businesses running software they depend on but no longer have the team to maintain, and for products whose original developers have moved on. It also suits teams who want release, monitoring and patching handled so their own engineers can stay on new work.
What You Get
We take responsibility for keeping live systems running: monitoring, security patching, dependency upgrades, performance work and bug fixes on an agreed response commitment. Maintenance is not just fixing breakages — it is the steady work of dependency updates and platform changes that prevents an unmaintained system becoming unshippable.
What We Deliver
- Application maintenance and bug fixing
- A triaged queue with agreed response times by severity, so a production outage and a cosmetic defect are not treated the same way.
- Security patching and dependency upgrades
- Regular dependency updates and advisory monitoring, applied in small tested increments rather than accumulating into a migration nobody wants to start.
- Production monitoring
- Uptime, error rate and performance monitoring with alerting, plus regular review of what the telemetry shows before users have to report it.
- Performance tuning
- Query optimisation, indexing, caching and connection pooling — the work that usually removes the need for a bigger instance.
- Continuous improvement releases
- Small feature and usability work delivered on a regular cadence, so the product keeps moving instead of freezing on the day it launched.
How We Work
- Discover (1 week) — We map the business problem before writing code: who the users are, which systems already hold the data, what "done" has to look like, and what the real constraints are on budget, compliance and timeline.
- Define (1–2 weeks) — We agree the architecture, the integration points and the scope of the first release, then write it down. You get a build plan you can hold us to, not an open-ended retainer.
- Build (2–8 weeks) — Delivery runs in short increments against a working environment you can see. Automated tests and code review are part of the increment, not a phase bolted on at the end.
- Deliver (1–2 weeks) — We ship to production with monitoring and rollback in place, migrate data, and hand over documentation and access. Code lives in your repository throughout.
- Optimize (Ongoing) — After launch we watch the real numbers, fix what the telemetry exposes, and ship the next increment. The ABC Transport ERP, for example, still receives new modules every month.
How We Choose the Stack
We maintain systems on the stacks we build with — React, Node.js, Python, Java, .NET, Laravel, Flutter — running on AWS, Azure and GCP, with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog and Sentry for monitoring. We also take on systems written by other teams after an initial audit.

Support & Maintenance FAQ
- Can you maintain software your team did not build?
- Yes. We start with an audit: what the system does, how it deploys, where the risk is and what is untested. That takes one to two weeks and produces a written assessment plus a prioritised list. You get that document regardless of whether you continue, and it is often useful on its own.
- What response times do you commit to?
- Response commitments are set by severity and agreed in writing before the engagement starts — production-down is a different commitment from a cosmetic defect. What that looks like in practice depends on your coverage hours and how critical the system is, so we scope it against your actual risk rather than quoting a standard tier.
- Is maintenance just bug fixes?
- No, and treating it that way is how systems become unshippable. Dependencies go out of support, platforms deprecate APIs, certificates expire and OS releases break assumptions. Most of a maintenance retainer is this steady preventive work, which is far cheaper than the emergency upgrade it avoids.
- Who owns the code you write?
- You do. Work is committed to a repository you own and control from day one, along with the infrastructure definitions, environment configuration and deployment scripts needed to run it without us. There is no proprietary runtime or licence you have to keep paying for to use what we built.
- How do engagements usually start?
- With a scoping conversation, not a proposal template. We look at the systems and data you already have, agree what the first release needs to do, and come back with a written build plan covering scope, sequence and timeline. If that plan says the work is smaller than you expected, we will tell you.
- How do you work across time zones?
- Our team works from Delhi, and how much of the day we share depends on where you are. With the Gulf it is close to a full working day; with the UK and Europe it is a few hours each morning; with North America there is no natural overlap, so we work from written handoffs and one scheduled call. Each market page sets out the actual hours for that region.
