Working hours with Europe

  • Time difference. India is 3.5–4.5 hours ahead of Central European time and 4.5–5.5 hours ahead of the UK, depending on daylight saving.
  • Shared hours. A 9-to-6 day on both sides overlaps by roughly 3.5 to 5.5 hours: Europe’s morning, India’s afternoon.
  • How we run it. Standups and reviews sit inside that window; heads-down build work happens either side of it.

Data protection

Projects that process personal data of people in the EU are subject to the GDPR, and in the UK to the UK GDPR. That usually means agreeing controller and processor roles and a data processing agreement before real data is involved. We build those requirements into the design rather than retrofitting them.
