Mobile App & Digital Product Engineering

Design and build scalable mobile apps and digital products for iOS, Android and cross-platform experiences with strong product UX.

Key Capabilities & Deliverables

  • iOS & Android Native Development
  • React Native & Flutter Cross-platform Apps
  • Product Discovery & UX/UI Prototyping
  • Offline-first Mobile Architecture
  • App Store Deployment & Optimization

From a social network for founders to a fintech customer app, we build mobile applications designed for entry-level devices, patchy networks and offline use.

Who This Is For

For businesses whose customers expect to do things on a phone that currently need a phone call or a branch visit, and for product teams taking a new app from concept to store listing. It suits organisations ready to keep investing after launch, because a mobile app is a commitment rather than a project.

What You Get

We design and build mobile applications for iOS and Android, and stay with them through store review, release and the versions that follow. That includes the parts that decide whether an app is trusted with money or personal data: offline behaviour, session and biometric security, crash reporting and a release process that does not break existing users.

What We Deliver

Cross-platform applications
Flutter and React Native builds sharing one codebase across iOS and Android, dropping to native modules where the platform demands it.
Native iOS and Android development
Swift and Kotlin where an app depends on platform capabilities, background behaviour or performance that cross-platform frameworks handle poorly.
Offline-first architecture
Local storage with conflict-aware sync, so the app keeps working on a weak connection and reconciles cleanly when the network returns.
Product design and prototyping
Flows and interface design tested with real users before build, with particular attention to first-time and low-confidence users where that is the audience.
Release engineering and store operations
Store listings, staged rollouts, crash and ANR monitoring, and update paths that do not strand users on old versions.

How We Work

  1. Discover (1 week) — We map the business problem before writing code: who the users are, which systems already hold the data, what "done" has to look like, and what the real constraints are on budget, compliance and timeline.
  2. Define (1–2 weeks) — We agree the architecture, the integration points and the scope of the first release, then write it down. You get a build plan you can hold us to, not an open-ended retainer.
  3. Build (2–8 weeks) — Delivery runs in short increments against a working environment you can see. Automated tests and code review are part of the increment, not a phase bolted on at the end.
  4. Deliver (1–2 weeks) — We ship to production with monitoring and rollback in place, migrate data, and hand over documentation and access. Code lives in your repository throughout.
  5. Optimize (Ongoing) — After launch we watch the real numbers, fix what the telemetry exposes, and ship the next increment. The ABC Transport ERP, for example, still receives new modules every month.

How We Choose the Stack

Flutter and React Native for cross-platform work; Swift and Kotlin for native; SQLite and WatermelonDB for offline storage; Firebase and custom Node.js services for backends; Play Console and App Store Connect for staged release and monitoring.

Related Work

  • Fintech customer app: past 50,000 Play Store installs — A customer-facing Android app for a listed Indian housing finance company, built for first-time smartphone users in tier-2 cities to check EMIs, download statements, pay and upload KYC documents without visiting a branch.
  • AayoApp: a social network for founders — Our own Flutter product, backed by a 5,000-member community and over 100 in-person events, with active Google Play releases — so the release and moderation tooling is something we run ourselves.

Mobile & Digital Products FAQ

Cross-platform or native?
Cross-platform for most business applications: one codebase, one release cycle, and materially lower cost to maintain. Native earns its extra cost when an app leans on background processing, heavy device hardware use or platform-specific capabilities. We make that call per feature, and a mostly-Flutter app can still drop to native where it needs to.
Do you handle App Store and Play Store submission?
Yes, including listing copy, screenshots, privacy declarations and the review correspondence when a submission is rejected. Financial and data-collecting apps attract more review scrutiny, so we prepare those declarations during the build rather than discovering the requirement at submission.
What happens after launch?
Mobile apps need ongoing work whether or not you add features: OS releases, SDK deprecations and store policy changes all force updates. We monitor crash and ANR rates after each release and ship fixes on a regular cadence. Both the fintech customer app and AayoApp are still on active release cycles today.
Who owns the code you write?
You do. Work is committed to a repository you own and control from day one, along with the infrastructure definitions, environment configuration and deployment scripts needed to run it without us. There is no proprietary runtime or licence you have to keep paying for to use what we built.
How do engagements usually start?
With a scoping conversation, not a proposal template. We look at the systems and data you already have, agree what the first release needs to do, and come back with a written build plan covering scope, sequence and timeline. If that plan says the work is smaller than you expected, we will tell you.
How do you work across time zones?
Our team works from Delhi, and how much of the day we share depends on where you are. With the Gulf it is close to a full working day; with the UK and Europe it is a few hours each morning; with North America there is no natural overlap, so we work from written handoffs and one scheduled call. Each market page sets out the actual hours for that region.
